Tongue Tied
An ongoing body of drawings that seek to make physical those intangible forces that can overwhelm ones being: thoughts, creative urges and emotions . The original Tongue Tied drawing responded to feelings of not having the words to describe the art I was trying to make; a speech bubble of pattern. The circular pieces relate to a feeling of pushing change or being pulled into a different state. The pregnant drop shape and the bubble are recurrent forms in this series.
